In a bid to celebrate the 4,400 awe-inspiring athletes who’ve competed over the last 11 days, the evening will feature a programme of the country’s top artists from the electro scene. The Paris 2024 webpage reads: ‘Paris 2024 is breaking new ground once again, promising a memorable final evening to cap off a historic summer of Games.’

Timings
The closing ceremony is due to kick off at 8.30pm CEST (that’s 7.30pm BST and 2.30pm EST), and last for three hours, until 11.30pm CEST (10.30pm BST and 5.30pm EST).
How to watch
If you’re watching in France, all the events have been screened on free-to-air channel France 2, as will the closing ceremony on September 8. It’s also worth checking out the Paralympic YouTube Channel or the International Paralympic Committee website.
